The idea of Anzai Hajime, “Tokaido Kosaku Exhibit” is part of an exhibition series based on the theme of homework & handicraft which began in 2002. CCC will host the 7th Kosaku Exhibit, “Tokaido Kosaku Exhibit”, the first to be held outside of Tokyo with 9 participating artists: Anzai Hajime, Shirane Yutanpo. Shiriagari Kotobuki, Nagino Takahiro, Nankin, Paradise Yamamoto, Takahashi Kintaro, Asakura Sekaiichi, and Mic Itaya.

Exhibit Submissions Accepted: 2010 May 1 (Mon.) to September 4 (Sat.) / Exhibit Dates: 2011 January 14 (Fri.) to February 12 (Sat.) [planned]
In continuation of our support for budding creatives, CCC (the center for creative communication) is proud to hold the 3rd New Creators Competition. 2 selected exhibit plan entries will receive funding of up to 200,000 JPY to support the execution of the exhibits which will be held from January 2011 at CCC.

Creativity itself is constantly breaking new ground in part due to the great changes today with the progress of technology and changing media. In search for a hint to break the current stagnation of Japan’s advertising business, CCC will present screenings and an exhibition of the latest commercial and promotional work. Also we have invited 4 of the UK”s top creatives to participate as we search for creative strategy and new paths in promotional communications

With experience in teaching workshops to design students in both the UK and Japan, artist Reico Motohara is teaming up with CCC to present a workshop for elementary school students in Shizuoka. Over 5 days children will expereince he joy of design and learn how to come up with ideas, solve problems and express themselves.
