Last year in November a member of Kenmei Nagaoka's "D&DEPARTMENT PROJECT" opened in Shizuoka City. D&DEPARTMENT PROJECT SHIZUOKA by TAITA is the 2nd store to open as part of the NIPPON PROJECT which plans on partnering with locals and opening a store in each of the 47 prefectures.
This time CCC and TAITA CORPORATION have teamed up to bring you this special series of seminars. In Part 1 at CCC, Tamon Takamatsu and Kenmei Nagaoka discusses the D&D project vision and the appeal of Shizuoka from a design business standpoint. For Part 2 at D&D, there was a presentation by CCC resident creatives and a talk show introducing CCC's activities as well as discussing Shizuoka industry and design.
