CCC STUDIO SHOW is a program which supports the exhibitions of resident creatives here at the center for creative communications. This year 2 residents will present exhibitions. For Part 1, Chiwa-Lab's SHIGETA Kazumi presents the exhibit "blooming-paradigm".

blooming-paradigm
A single flower, flowers in full bloom, fallen flowers...there are many different flowers which can bloom in a person's heart. For this exhibit, the main motif is flowers and plants. Items that have been made, items that wish to be made. agave (shigeta)
In this workshop, through drawing and collage work participants will learn about the flowers, plants, insects, birds and other living things in Shizuoka which are on the endangered species list. Using the coloring/patterns of the endangered species, participants will then create their own T-shirt design.

■Limited to the first 15 people (junior high age or older) to register.
■Admission is 500 yen.

agave (shigeta) Shigeta Kazumi
Born in Shizuoka and graduated from Musashino Art University Scenography, Display, and Design Department. Worked at a display design company from 2000 and went solo in 2007 forming Chiwa-Lab. She has been a resident at CCC since 2008 and is active in design and as a VMD (visual merchandising) advisor.
