CCC’s competitive program to support budding creatives, New Creators Competition 2010, had a total of 10 exhibit plans submitted. After critical screening, the judges chose 2 winners. who will have their exhibitions held at CCC.

"Daily Earth Exhibit"

Concept
This exhibit shows the hidden aspects of our everyday life. In what appears to be normal objects, Ms. Irie sculptures things that have been here before the age of mankind.
Profile
Born in 1983, Okayama. COnducted overseas study at Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee in Berlin and graduated with a Masters from the Hiroshima City University's Graduate School of Art. Major exhibits include "Hiroshima Art Project 2009" & "2008 Camp Hiroshima, Camp Berlin" (Hiroshima & Berlin), "art_icle exhibit" (Tokyo), "Old Factory Art Project" (Hiroshima), etc...

Concept
Everyday we sit drinking our tea while staring at Mount Fuji without a care in the world –Japanese have a knack for putting everything in a middle quality state. What is this middle quality and how will it make life here in this universe a little more enjoyable?
Profile
Born in 1980, Shizuoka. Graduated from Tama Art University's Moving Images & Performing Arts Department. As a student she created the charater "Kanachin", who is half Shizuokan & half being from another planet, and continues with manga and character goods creation. She went to Hong Kong for the 3rd time for a Kanachin exhibit.
