ドイツ在住の作家 金原明音氏による「時間」をテーマにしたインスタレーション展
ent – falten 時をひらく
ent – falten（エント-ファルテン）とは、ドイツ語の”entfalten“という単語から成り、「falten = 折る」 を 「ent = 元の状態に戻す」 という語源から “ひらく“ を意味します。
本展では、大量の紙飛行機が時間の経過とともに、素材としての平らな紙に戻され、積み重ねられていきます。
折りシワという過ぎ去った時間の痕跡をひろげながら、展示期間中に状況が変化するインスタレーションや、鑑賞者と作家の協働による紙飛行機が飛び交う映像作品は、誰もが持つ時間の感覚に問いを投げかけます。
展示を通して創る、観る、動かす時を共有し、あなたの現在でも過去でも未来でもないタイムレスな時をひらいてみませんか。
ent – falten 時をひらく(unfolding time)
“ent-falten” is based on the German word “entfalten,” which means “to unfold.”
The prefix “ent-” also has the meaning “to return to the original state“, and “entfalten” can also mean “to evolve.”
During the exhibition, a large number of paper planes will be unfolded, in an attempt to return them to their original state—thus, the installation will evolve over time.
In a parallel video work, paper planes are seen flying around the viewer.
The works contemplate questions of our perception of time and the futile attempt to return to a past state of existence.
Visitors are invited to share their time with us, moving through the space, and to experience a timelessness that is neither present, past, nor future.
パフォーマンス・スケジュール | Performance Schedule
展示期間中、1Fギャラリーの床に埋め尽くされた紙飛行機を、一枚一枚元の平らな紙にひらいていくパフォーマンスを展開します。
パフォーマンスは随時Youtubeにてライブ配信予定。
日が経つにつれ、紙飛行機が折ジワの痕跡を残した紙の束に変化していき、空間の様子が変わっていくインスタレーションをご覧ください。

During the exhibition period, a performance will take place where paper airplanes covering the entire floor of the 1st floor gallery will be unfolded one by one back into flat sheets of paper.
The performance will be live-streamed at the times listed below.
As the days pass, you can observe the process as the paper airplanes transform into stacks of paper bearing the traces of fold lines, changing the appearance of the space.
First Performance: June 21 (Sat), 2:00 PM (all times JST)

プロフィール
金原明音 (きんばらあかね)
1971年 静岡・清水区生まれ 1998年渡独。 2006年ハンブルク芸術大学を卒業し、 以後、ドイツを主にヨーロッパを中心に活動。 また幾つかの国際アーティスト・レジデンスプログラムに参加。 べルリン在住。

金原明音アートツアー＆アート談義
金原明音が自身の作品を案内しながら、「時をひらく」想いを語ります。
アート談義では、普段ベルリンで活動している様子やドイツのアーティスト、展覧会状況等をお知らせしながら、参加者の皆さんとアートよもやま話をします。
インタビュアーは、三島でアート団体アルテ・プラーサ主宰の坂田芳乃さん（元静岡県立美術館副館長）
